    Mark Dittrich, Partner

gm! Mark brings experience advising some of the largest companies in the world on industry-altering transactions in Gibson Dunn’s corporate department to entrepreneurs, dealmakers, and creators. Now Mark is an octopus (his favorite animal) of a lawyer—walking clients through fundraising, acquisitions, or exits, joining the team as outside general counsel, or helping them navigate the intersection of blockchain technology and law as traditional orgs, decentralized ones or a mix of the two.

Mark received his JD, magna cum laude, from Georgetown Law, was elected to the Order of the Coif, and served as Articles Editor for the Georgetown Law Journal. Mark received his BA from UCLA. In addition to having overspent in gas auctions “so his clients could learn from his hands-on experience,” Mark is a certified legal engineer (LEETH) and a member of LexDAO.

Mark lives in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica and San Diego, California with his wife, Kassidi and his dog, Tipsy. He can’t do anything until he’s surfed. It’s a curse.
